The two teachers behind The Teaching Couple

We're Dan and Katy — a husband-and-wife teaching team from the UK. Between us we've spent 15 years in primary classrooms, and we built this site for one reason: most teaching resources are either beautiful but shallow, or thorough but unusable. We wanted both.

Everything here is built the way we plan for our own classes:

• Differentiated properly — not one worksheet with "support" scribbled on it, but genuinely tiered versions of the same lesson, so every child works on the same learning at the right level.
• Curriculum-aligned on both sides of the Atlantic — UK Year groups and US Grades, labelled honestly.
• Complete — model texts, answer keys, planning, the lot. If a resource needs you to make something else before you can teach it, we've failed.

We've been doing this for over four years. More than 6,000 of our resources are listed on Teachers Pay Teachers and TES, rated 4.8★ by the teachers who've reviewed them. This site is where everything lives together — and where bundles exist that the marketplaces can't do.
