Does using more adjectives make writing more descriptive?

A few quick ways to bring this into your lessons:
WAGOLL — pick the strongest example: read two or three of the paragraph examples above with the class and rank them: which is strongest and why? A quick way to surface the criteria pupils should aim for.
Model then write: model writing a fresh paragraph in front of the class using the same techniques, then have pupils write their own — same structure, their own subject.
